Welcome to Advanced Family Dental, PC as a respective provider of dental care and orthodontics. One of the top priorities of our practice is to provide exceptional orthodontic care and treatment for our patients. Advanced Family Dental’s team seeks to create relationships with their patients and recommend ways to provide preventative care before providing corrective care in the future. 

We know that orthodontic care takes a lot of effort, personal time and financial commitment. We want to encourage your child to develop healthy habits now—at a young age—to hopefully eliminate the need for braces during the sensitive middle and high school years.  With early attention, we can help improve the dental and facial development in children by using myofunctional dental appliances. Our goal is to have your child’s face grow normally and result in a better profile and smile.

David J. Rubis, DDS
David J. Rubis, DDS graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science and continued his education at Northwestern University Dental School to fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a dentist.  Dr. Rubis is joined by his son, Joseph D. Rubis, DDS, in overseeing seven multidisciplinary practices consisting of a team of general dentists, specialists and hygienists to provide advanced dental care for the entire family.  Dr. David Rubis has a special interest in orthodontics, TMJD and sleep appliances for snoring and sleep apnea.  Dr. David Rubis is frequently continuing his education in the dental field by attending classes and seminars to be familiar with the latest technologies and products available to serve his patients. 

Joseph D. Rubis, DDS
Joseph D. Rubis, DDS graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001 and then continued his education at Marquette Dental School, graduating in 2005.  Dr. Joseph Rubis regularly participates in courses to improve his craft utlizing modern techniques and materials.  He attended the Nash Institute for cosmetic dentistry, learning from one of the top cosmetic dentists in the nation.  He also attended the Misch International Implant Institute and the Rondeau Orthodontic seminars.  Dr. Joseph Rubis practices conservative and comfortable techniques.
